• This stream is for those are interested in composing. Christopher Willcock is the ideal leader since his own music ranges from that suitable for the least skilled congregations through to elaborate music written for professional ensembles. Whatever your interest or level, Christopher will be an ideal mentor. Develop your skills within the framework of this “hothouse” composer’s retreat
• The daily schedule generally consists of:
• Optional commencement exercises for an hour (morning prayer, coffee and bagels, devotions and announcements)
• Introductory session with Christopher Willcock including review of previous day’s work
• Morning Tea
• Setting a particular task and establishing a framework in which to work
• Lunch
• Composition Time– Christopher Willcock on hand to mentor, tutor and advise
• Afternoon Tea
• Composition Time (cont)
• Performance or Lecture
• Dinner
