Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) proudly announces its International Festival of Sacred Music (54th Annual Summer School) in Brisbane, January 2009.
This Festival caters for church musicians – organists, choir directors, cantors, choristers, instrumentalists, liturgy committee members, clergy.
BUT it also caters for those with interest in the techniques of singing, conducting, arts administration, organ playing, choral teaching, and community music. So if you are a school teacher, community choir director, voice student, voice teacher, choir committee member, or anything to do with the arts or teaching professions, you will find sessions of interest to you. The content may be sacred, but the techniques are the same!
AND it caters for musicians at all levels.
SO IF
- you sing in a Cathedral Choir, a community choir, a secondary school choir, or ladies’ church choir
- you direct a primary school choir, a church choir, a cathedral choir, a community choir, a singing group in a retired persons’ home, or just a bunch of people who get together to sing
- you are taking voice lessons, or never have but would like some instruction
- you play organ in a large church, a small country community hall, or a have never played organ but wish to for your church
